Allow the children to be innovative beyond being creative.  This includes the following: 

• Breakdown a concept to its minutest parts and then reassemble the parts so that concepts are well understood.
• Encourage children to use concepts learned to apply in real life.  Similarly encourage them to connect their real-life experience to concepts they learned in the classroom.  
• Allow children to innovate beyond what has been already created. 
• Allow children to take risks in innovating. 
• Children understand that risk and innovation go together and they are capable of doing the same.
